A Free 6-Week Lifestyle & Diet Coaching Pilot for Patients at Aldershot Centre for Health
This proposal outlines a time-limited, professionally delivered health coaching pilot designed to support patients with lifestyle-related challenges. It is offered in direct response to the 2025/26 NHS GP contract priorities, focusing on prevention, personalised care, and sustainable behaviour change.
The pilot focuses on helping patients improve their diet, manage energy levels, and build confidence in their daily routines—particularly those managing early-stage long-term conditions, weight gain, emotional eating, or coming off GLP-1 medications like Mounjaro.
Patients will receive structured one-to-one support in two small intakes of five participants, with the option to involve family members for additional at-home reinforcement.
This is a practical, low-risk opportunity for Aldershot Centre for Health to explore how lifestyle coaching can enhance patient care, reduce repeat GP visits, and pave the way for future integration through funding opportunities such as ARRS, PCN budgets, or personalised care pathways.
